Clove Bud Oil
The main chemical component of clove bud oil is eugenol. Clove oil has a warm, strong, spicy smell and the oil is pale yellow to brown with a medium to watery viscosity. It is an important commodity in the spice trade and is still used in perfumes, dental products and as insect repellant. It is useful for its disinfecting properties, relieving of pain, especially toothache, mouth sores, rheumatism and arthritis. It is effective when used for complaints of the digestion system. Clove Stem Oil
Clove stem oil has a dark yellowish color compared to that of clove bud oil. Same as in the bud oil, the main chemical component of clove stem oil is eugenol. Uses are quite similar to those of clove bud oil, however, cheaper in price. It is used in perfumes, dental products an insect repellant.
